It's that time of year again in Houston and this year Kariana is ready to rodeo. The trail riders came up Stella Link on Friday and the kiddos went out to see the horses and wagons. Here is our little city slicker cowgirl! I have to laugh because even her daddy is becoming a true Texan and is wanting to get himself a pair of real cowboy boots. Yee-haw from Texas!

Wet, Cold, Sock Feet
Apparently Kariana refused to wear her tennis shoes to the park yesterday. This is nothing new. She often refuses to put on her shoes or she just kicks them off. She loves her crocks but we've been making her wear her tennis shoes because of the cold weather. Sometimes the shoes get tucked in the basket underneath the stroller for the short walk and then she has to put them on when she gets to the park. Not yesterday. The shoes were accidentally left at the house. So my daughter ran around the park in wet, cold, 50 degree weather, sock feet. It didn't seem to stop her. These pictures were sent to me while they were at the park, but the funny part is that I didn't even notice until I got home and Kariana told me the whole story by herself without Lou prompting her. Lou laughed and said "she ratted me!" This is Kariana (in her sock feet) and Arie having slide races at the park yesterday. Hopefully, tomorrow we don't end up with a cold.
