Summer is officially here and it was HOT! We kicked it off with a visit from Grandpa Carlson and plenty of time swimming at the pool. It sort of reminded me of my two-a-days back in high school sports - swimming in the morning, home for lunch & a nap, and back for more swimming at the pool in the afternoon. Kariana is like a fish in the water. She has no fear and loves throwing herself underwater and dunking her head under. I'm wondering if this is normal behavior for an 18 month old or a result of all those expensive swimming lessons? In any case, mom better stock up on lots of sunblock and maybe some Valium for my nerves!
