Vroom Vroom

There's been a whole lot of "vroom vroom" going on around the house and Kariana can't get enough of watching the big trucks. We are officially under construction again and this time we're building a new garage and remodeling our swimming pool. I was initially concerned the noise was going to be an issue at nap time because it is right outside Kariana's bedroom window. The noise hasn't bothered Kariana a bit and she is having a blast with all of the construction! She points to the big trucks and makes "vroom vroom" noises. One afternoon she was waking up from her nap as a cement truck was arriving to pour the foundation to the garage. Kariana heard the truck and frantically started pointing at the outside wall of her bedroom. She was bouncing up and down in her crib and saying "vroom vroom." She was so excited to go downstairs to see the big truck. This morning breakfast was completely preempted by a bobcat and dump truck that showed up to tear out our old driveway. Kariana couldn't wait to get to the window to see what was happening outside and I was able to snap some pictures.

Soon she started saying "ouosh ouosh" which means "shoes shoes" or take me outside to see the "vroom vrooms." The shoes did not make it onto her feet.
